Haider, Agneepath, Ghajini: Top 15 Vendetta Movies

Haider, Agneepath, Ghajini: Top 15 Vendetta Movies

Revenge is never a straight line. It's a forest.”

Remember this line from Quentin Tarantino’s volatile Kill Bill Vol 1?

Well, Hindi films have its own bloody history of settling scores.
Taking the tradition a step further appears to be Sriram Raghavan’s Badlapur featuring Varun Dhawan in an uncharacteristically savage avatar.
Even as the intense drama hits the screens on February 20, here’s a look at some of Bollywood’s best-known vendetta flicks.

Haider (2014)

Image: Shahid Kapoor in Haider
Avenger: Shahid Kapoor
Reason for revenge: Father’s execution as a result of his mother and uncle’s joint betrayal.
Payback time: Shahid’s Hamlet-inspired wrathful, melancholic temperament struggles to decide whether he can fulfill his dying father’s wishes and hurt his wicked uncle but his mother explains the futility of the concept to him in a manner most catastrophic.

Gangs of Wasseypur I & II (2012)
Image: Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Gangs of Wasseypur 2
Avenger: Manoj Bajpai and Nawazuddin Siddiqui
Reason for revenge: Assassination of their respective fathers by a cunning politician.
Payback time: With Bajpai’s Sardar Khan bumped off in the first volume, it’s up to son Siddiqui to finish off their long-time nemesis Ramadhir Singh (Tigmanshu Dhulia).

And he does that rather unflinchingly by cornering the latter unarmed, unshielded in a hospital’s lavatory with nothing but a zillion bullets doing all the talking.

Kahaani (2012)
Image: Vidya Balan in Kahani
Avenger: Vidya Balan
Reason for revenge: Husband’s death in a poison-gas attack.
Payback time: Vidya Balan fakes a pregnant belly and fools the cops to facilitate her retribution against the mysterious rogue within the intelligence.

Talaash (2012)
Image: Kareena Kapoor in Talaash
Avenger: Kareena Kapoor
Reason for revenge: Dumped to die on the road by her companions following a car accident.
Payback time: Kareena returns as a restless spirit bumping off her culprits one after another at the exact same spot in a similarly staged car accident.

Agneepath (2012)
Image: Hrithik Roshan in Agneepath
Avenger: Hrithik Roshan
Reason for revenge: Humiliation and murder of his virtuous, schoolteacher dad and, later on, wife too.
Payback time: In this blood-splattering remake of the Amitabh Bachchan starrer, Hrithik unleashes hellish fury at his wrongdoers -- Sanjay Dutt and Rishi Kapoor -- with striking intensity making it one of the more satisfactory remakes from Bollywood.

Ghajini (2008)
Image: Aamir Khan in Ghajini
Avenger: Aamir Khan
Reason for revenge: Girlfriend’s brutal murder and severe, short-term memory loss triggering injuries to self.
Payback time: Being at a clear disadvantage, ridden by anterograde amnesia, doesn’t come in Aamir’s way as he sets a trail of tattooed notes on his torso and polaroid shots as clues to hunt his foe Ghajini (Pradeep Rawat) and hammer the daylights out of him.

Ek Hasina Thi (2004)
Image: Urmila Matondkar and Saif Ali Khan in Ek Hasina Thi
Avenger: Urmila Matondkar
Reason for revenge: Duped by her fraud boyfriend (Saif Ali Khan) to do time in prison for crimes she did not commit.
Payback time: After a hellish stint in jail, a wiser, bitter Urmila meticulously plans her payback and punishment (involving rats) in ways you never thought one could.

Karan Arjun (1995)
Image: Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in Karan Arjun
Avenger: Raakhee, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan
Reason for revenge: Sons killed ruthlessly by inheritance-hungry relative.
Payback time: Raakhee’s keen prayers are answered and Salman-Shah Rukh are reborn as Salman-Shah Rukh to get back at the evil Amrish Puri and his cronies with the same level of aggression.

Baazigar (1993)
Image: Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Dalip Tahil in Baazigar
Avenger: Shah Rukh Khan
Reason for revenge: Downfall of his family, business and father by a certain Madan Chopra.
Payback time: SRK’s strategy to take over his enemy’s business by romantically pursuing both his daughters gets out of hand when he throws one of them off a building.

But this is Abbas-Mustan and ‘haar ke jeetnewale ko Baazigar kehte hain,’ so SRK stabs Madan Chopra with the same rod the latter inserted in his gut a few seconds ago.

Khoon Bhari Maang (1988)
Image: Rekha and Kabir Bedi in Khoon Bhari Maang
Avenger: Rekha
Reason for revenge: Greedy new husband threw her in a lake full of crocodiles, took over her riches and left her kids for ruin.
Payback time: Rekha transforms from plain Jane to scar faced to super model in a matter of few reels to exact revenge along exact same lines from her suave but spiteful hubby (Kabir Bedi) using glamour as her primary weapon.

Aakhri Raasta (1986)
Image: Amitabh Bachchan in Aakhri Raasta
Avenger: Amitabh Bachchan
Reason for revenge: Wife’s rape leading to suicide for which he’s falsely implicated and sentenced for over two decades.
Payback time: AB comes out of prison and goes on a vendetta spree by cold-bloodedly executing every single person responsible for his misery -- the politician, the cop, the doctor even as his own police officer son hopes to curtail his activities.

Nagin (1976)
Image: Reena Roy in Nagin
Avenger: Reena Roy
Reason for revenge: Slaying of her mate.
Payback time: A form changing snake woman loses her partner to a hunter bunch.

Prompted by her furious, revengeful state of mind, she resolves to spew poison into their veins one after another by changing into several seductive avatars.

Sholay (1975)
Image: Sanjeev Kumar, Dharmendra and Amitabh Bachchan in Sholay
Avenger: Sanjeev Kumar
Reason for revenge: Family massacre and severing of both his arms by notorious bandit Gabbar Singh (Amjad Khan).
Payback time: Sanjeev Kumar’s Thakur employs two golden-hearted crooks (Dharmendra, Amitabh Bachchan) to get hold of Gabbar so that he can realise his dream of chopping his arms with a customised pair of spike-soled shoes.

Zanjeer (1973)
Image: Amitabh Bachchan in Zanjeer
Avenger: Amitabh Bachchan
Reason for revenge: Parents shot dead by a gangster.
Payback time: Big B’s angry young cop takes a while to figure out the man who gunned down his folks when he was a kid is none other than the city’s most influential fella, Teja, played by Ajit.

Intequaam (1969)
Image: Sadhana and Sanjay Khan in Intequaam
Avenger: Sadhana
Reason for revenge: Put behind bars for a year after being falsely accused for a theft by her arrogant boss (Rehman).
Payback time: After the unfair treatment meted out on her, Sadhana is in no mood to forgive and forget.

She hatches a scheme with Ashok Kumar to retaliate against their common enemy by seducing the boss’s son (Sanjay Khan) into a romantic trap.

REVEALED: Why Anushka Sharma Gets Annoyed When Asked About Virat Kohli

Anushka Sharma has been time and again hounded about her relationship with Virat Kohli. Tired with all the speculations, she finally reveals the TRUTH!
In an interview, she said that, “I am in a relationship with him and I have respect for my relationship.” When asked about why she doesn’t talk much about Virat, she says, “The only reason I don't talk about it is because we don't know where to draw the boundary. If someone comes out in the open and tells you that yes I am in a relationship and if you are going to constantly just keep asking questions, it's like my personal space isn't being respected. It is pretty clear in my head about what I do and don't do.” Further adding that, “The reason I don't talk about it is because it takes away from my work. People don't take people's work seriously.” Well said, Ms. Sharma!

'Someone Please Ask Aamir Khan To Shut Up': Russell Peters
Just a few days ago, Aamir Khan responded to the AIB Roast video, calling it “violent”. And now stand-up comedian Russell Peters has reacted to his response to the AIB Roast video, asking the actor to, well, “shut up”.
A leading daily has quoted Russell Peters as saying, “Seriously, who is he, the so-called artist, to say that he found it violent and that AIB and rest involved should have been responsible? He did not even see it! Someone please ask him to shut up and take care of his own business.” He also went on to add that it is unfortunate how the group is being persecuted for the roast. ““I don’t know if they even understand what it is. It is a roast, where you put someone stage and say the most honest things, in the most brutal, nastiest manner. And in return, they do the same to you. And it’s not the type of comedy where you go behind someone’s back and stab them. It’s honest, it’s in your face,” Peters was quoted as saying

Radhika Apte’s naked pictures on WhatsApp!

There is no confirmation on whether these pictures are real or morphed
Privacy has been breached again; actress Radhika Apte’s naked selfies have been doing round of WhatApp messages. This is not the first time an actor has been victim to these situations.
radhikaapte-2
Radhika Apte who is a popular face in Bollywood and down South is the latest victim of the hackers’ group, who’ve been floating her bathroom selfies on public platforms. Radhika has done several films down South and was recently seen in Shor in the City, Rakht Charitra, Dhoni, Lai Bhaari and is gearing up for her upcoming movies which include Badlapur with Varun Dhawan and Hunterr among others.
radhikaapte-1
The actress has not yet given a statement regarding the leaked pictures. It is indeed scary for celebrities who have no privacy and live in the radar forever. These shower selfies seem like the handiwork of some hacker, who leaked these images from her phone and circulated it on the internet.
The cyber crime cell ought to take some strict action against before things go out of hand and public figures’ lives are ruined.

Scandal Flashback: Kareena Kapoor's Disastrous Launch

Scandal Flashback: Kareena Kapoor's Disastrous Launch

Scandal Flashback: Kareena Kapoor's Disastrous Launch
Kareena Kapoor-Khan
The StoryKareena Kapoor may have had a dream launch opposite Abhishek Bachchan in JP Dutta's Refugee in the early 2000s but few know that her first hero was supposed to have been Hrithik Roshan. Bebo was to make her debut in Rakesh Roshan's romantic thriller Kaho Naa...Pyaar Hai opposite his handsome, light-eyed son Hrithik but the film was mired in controversy right from the time of the shoot and it resulted in the ouster of Kareena. Finally Ameesha Patel was signed on to play the lead.

Ameesha Patel
Initially Rakesh thought he had managed a casting coup when he signed Randhir Kapoor and Babita's daughter to star with his son in his debut film. As the gen next of two prominent Bollywood families, the casting created a huge buzz. But then trouble started early on during the filming. After having shot for a day with Kareena, Rakesh had a discussion on the future plan – a dance sequence aboard a ship. To his surprise, Kareena flatly refused to shoot for the song. Despite Rakesh trying his best to make her see reason, Bebo was adamant and reportedly said, "But we (Babita and her) told you we don't want to shoot a song."
Rakesh had his own vision for the movie and the way he wanted to shoot it. He had planned for a rehearsal of the song before Kareena and Hrithik could be comfortable shooting aboard a real ship. He also wanted them to shoot some light songs and scenes first. But for some odd reason Bebo did not agree. Rakesh then decided to talk to her mother, Babita who, he felt would convince her daughter to follow his directions. But Rakesh could not believe what happened next. Babita was even more reluctant and reportedly said, "No way! She will not do a song." Tired of trying to convince the mother-daughter duo, Rakesh thought of bringing in Bunty Soorma (a close friend of Babita and Rakesh's relative), to intervene and handle the situation. But to no avail.
The main problem between the Roshans and the Kapoors were the seemingly unreasonable demands that Babita placed. Considering that Bebo was just a newcomer, Rakesh was all the more incensed by their behaviour. Babita demanded that Kareena should get top billing over Hrithik in the credits of the film. Rakesh put his foot down and argued that Hrithik had worked as a child actor which made him senior to Bebo.
Apparently Kareena too was no less a diva. She allegedly wanted her spot boy to tag along wherever she went...even on shoots abroad! When Rakesh denied that facility Kareena reportedly asked, "But who will hold the umbrella for mummy and me?" Later, as a consolation, Rakesh agreed to have Kareena's chosen dress designer, Manish Malhotra fly with them.
The young actress also asked Roshan senior to reportedly cough up a huge sum to pay her hairdresser and said that unless the payment was made, she would not shoot. An angry friend of the director said in an interview, "She is nothing but an employee. He does not even pay Madhuri Dixit's hairdresser." Apparently, Babita had also stated that Kareena wouldn't wear a bikini.
Babita simply wanted to ensure that her baby got the best break in Bollywood. However, she ended up interfering in each and every shot. Apparently, she asked Rakesh to show her the rushes after every shot and urged him to reshoot if she felt they were not good. Finally, an exasperated Rakesh took a call – he decided to fire Kareena from the film.

A still from Kareena and Abhishek's Refugee
Her ouster from the film made huge headlines but Kareena was not perturbed. After the episode Babita worked doubly hard and ensured that Bebo got a better deal – a debut film opposite none other than Amitabh Bachchan's son Abhishek in Refugee. JP Dutta was a respected filmmaker and this project was considered more exciting than Kaho Na... at that time. But Bebo and Babita's calculation misfired. While Refugee got critical acclaim and both Abhishek and Kareena were hugely appreciated, the film tanked at the box office. On the other hand, Kaho Naa...Pyaar Hai, starring Hrithik and Ameesha hit the jackpot and went on to become a blockbuster. What's more with just one film Hrithik became the nation's heartthrob.

Hrithik and Ameesha
But Bebo had no regrets. On her successor, Ameesha Patel, she once said, "The film (Kaho Naa...) is a huge success so I would have definitely become a star had I acted in it. But I don't know if I want to be labeled as just a star. There is a new star every Friday. I'd rather be known as an actress and that would have not been possible if I had done Kaho Naa... The film was made for Hrithik. His dad spent five hours on every frame and close-up of his whereas not even five seconds were spent on Ameesha. There are portions in the film where she has pimples and under-eye bags on her face. She just doesn't look beautiful but every shot of his was a dream. If I were in the film, I would have definitely got a better deal but I still feel that the attention would have been divided between us. So, I'm glad I didn't do the film."
Her debut fiasco didn't affect Kareena at all as her confidence and talent went on to make her one of the most sought-after actresses in Bollywood. Even Hrithik put the incident behind him as he continued to work in one blockbuster after another.
Current Status
Kareena Kapoor-Khan  In the span of 15 years in the industry, Kareena has given many hits opposite top heroes of Bollywood. After appearing opposite Ajay Devgn in the recently released Singham Returns, she is all set to work with Salman Khan yet again, in Kabir Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
Rakesh Roshan – Rakesh Roshan's banner has made some huge films like Koi Mil Gaya, Krrish 2 and Krrish 3 starring Hrithik Roshan. He hasn't yet announced another film after Krrish 3.
Babita Kapoor – She is actively involved with her daughters' lives and enjoys the company of her grandchildren Samaira and Kiaan Raj, Karisma's children. Recently, she moved in back with her husband, Randhir Kapoor after a 20-year separation.
Ameesha Patel – Ameesha's career didn't take off the way it should have. After 2013, she is all set to appear in another two films in 2014, Bhaiyyaji Superhitt and Desi Magic. She currently owns her own production house called Ameesha Patel Productions with her business partner, Kuunal Goomer.

Shamitabh takes an average start
Box office report

2015 hasn't really kicked off on a big note, as far as box-office numbers are concerned. While a few have been complete duds, others have just about recovered costs.

Today's big release is R. Balki's Shamitabh staring megastar Amitabh Bachchan, South superstar Dhanush and newbie Akshara.
The film is one of a kind and caters to a niche audience - the multiplex moviegoers.

On one hand Shamitabh has opened to an average occupancy but on the other, the film is being raved by the critics. Which clearly means that a strong word of mouth will work wonders for it over the coming weekend. According to the first day occupancy reports, the film might collected Rs. 3 to 5 crores today.

Scandal Flashback: Sridevi's Bizarre Behaviour

Scandal Flashback: Sridevi's Bizarre Behaviour

Scandal Flashback: Sridevi's Bizarre Behaviour
Sridevi

SRIDEVI

Read more about Sridevi
Sridevi was known as the female Amitabh Bachchan of the 1980s. Her dance numbers, performances and striking personality made her the undisputed diva of Bollywood. Films like Tohfa, Nagina, Mr India, Chaalbaaz and Sadma not only showcased her incredible talent but also her box office pull. It was hardly surprising that filmmakers vied to sign her for their movies while her contemporaries did not even try to reach
her stature.
However her great success was not without controversies. While her personal life was always under scrutiny (her alleged affair with Mithun Chakraborty and later Boney Kapoor made for sensational headlines), her professional side was not without blemish either. Of course, she was a fabulous actress and extremely dedicated to her craft but Sridevi made news not for the films she signed but for the ones she didn’t! A lot of the films she rejected went on to become superhits thus benefitting some other actress but what surprised people was the reason for which she’d refuse a film – they bordered from the bizarre to the inane making people wonder why she behaved so oddly.
Once Sridevi was offered a role in a film called Kaamyab opposite Jeetendra, which she rejected. What happened later was an epic and interesting fight. The producers, Padmalaya Films were reportedly miffed with Sri so they signed another South actress, Radha in her place. Later, posters of the other actress were seen all over the city with the tagline:'She's not Sridevi. She's Radha!' Obviously upset by the production house's childish behaviour, Sridevi's mother asked her not to work in another film, Hoshiyar that she had earlier signed with them. Apparently, Sri's mum wanted to punish the producers for hitting back at her daughter. The actress also reportedly rejected being part of a Yash Chopra film titled Vijay because it was a multi-star cast film. She wanted to make the most of her stardom getting the maximum coverage and a prominent role!
The next  big film she rejected was Shashi Kapoor's home production Ajooba in which she was approached for a role opposite none other than Amitabh Bachchan. The reason for denying the film? She felt Amitabh had a more prominent role and felt she didn't deserve anything less than what he got. In an interview in 1987, she said, "I have never said I won't work with Amitji. But then what's there for any artiste to do in a film starring him? He does everything himself." While some felt her statement reeked of arrogance (especially at a time when heroine-oriented films were non-existent) others felt that she was merely seeking her place in the industry as a superstar in her own right. She may have refused Ajooba because she felt the role wasn't significant enough but when she got a fantastic author-backed character in Beta, she said no to that as well! The film was eventually signed by Madhuri Dixit and it went on to become a blockbuster helping the Dhak Dhak girl edge out Sridevi as the numero uno. Sri's reason for rejecting Beta was that it starred Anil Kapoor with whom she had worked a number of times. A couple of years later Sridevi was offered Darr, a film that made Juhi Chawla a superstar. But she turned it down saying, "After Chandni and Lamhe, I feel Darr would have been an ordinary character for me. If I’m playing Shah Rukh Khan's role, then of course, I would have loved to do it. The character Juhi played was new for her and so it was good for her. But for me, it was something I had done many times before." Perhaps she thought she was repeating herself in a role, but justifying that Shah Rukh's character was way more interesting and had she been offered that she would have gladly taken it up, almost displayed her arrogance. In the case of another film Yugpursh, Sridevi accepted the offer to play a call girl but backed out claiming she was not mentally prepared to take on such an intense role. Her logic may have sounded reasonable but then emerged rumours that there was another reason for her refusal. Apparently, it was on Boney Kapoor's insistence that she went back on her word since Nana Patekar, the lead of Yugpursh and Boney’s brother, Anil Kapoor, had had a war of words on a film set.
Apparently, Sridevi was also offered a role in Jurassic Park by Steven Spielberg. She refused to star in it because it wasn't a staggering, meaty role.
Apart from refusing good films, there were also whispers about Sridevi making her male co-stars insecure. Once in an interview, when asked about Sridevi, Salman Khan said, "It’s good to work with an actress like Sridevi. But I'm scared. She has the reputation of finishing off the hero with her performance." Even the actresses were a little wary of her. As Amrita Singh once said, "Except for Sridevi, all the other heroines including myself can be slotted together. I'm afraid it is reality and it's time we face it. Today, most producers are proposal makers and most heroines are interchangeable. Sridevi is the only actress who makes a difference in the selling price of a film. She is there for keeps. Take it or leave it." Even producers made films especially to suit her tastes. Filmmaker Harmesh Malhotra once said, "I make films for Sridevi. The co-stars are not important. If people can make films for Amitabh why I can't make films for Sri?"
Sridevi ruled Bollywood a long time but there were occasions when she was rejected too. Apparently, she was chosen for Baazigar in 1993. She was supposed to do a dual role in the film and the script was written to suit her persona. However, the directors (Abbas Mustan) then got uncomfortable with the idea of having Sridevi on board as they felt that the audience would never be able to sympathise with SRK's character if he killed her. The role was re-written and two newcomers, Shilpa Shetty and Kajol, were signed up. In another film, Sunhera Sansar, she was to star along with Hema Malini. However, the makers decided to drop her at the last moment. Sridevi once confessed, "I remember having signed a film with Hemaji. I was a child star then. Halfway through the film, the hero objected to having so many South Indians in the film, so I was dropped."
Despite her rejections, there was no one like Sridevi in Bollywood. She was the first actress of her time to get Rs1 crore (roughly Dhs660,000) per film while her competition managed to earn a few hundred thousands. She once said, "I have a lot of responsibilities. I have to do something different in every film. Being at the top is like being on a rollercoaster ride. It’s thrilling and scary." In an interview to a leading newspaper she said, "I am glad I am in a position to do whatever is comfortable for me. I am glad I am in a position to select scripts." Sridevi is a remarkable actress and perhaps that's why despite so many controversies, she remains a true diva.
Where Is She Now:
Sridevi: Sri made a fabulous comeback with English Vinglish two years ago but hasn't signed any movie ever since. She continues to dazzle at red carpet events but is now said to be waiting for her daughter Jhanvi to make her debut.

Scandal Flashback: The Tina Munim-Rajesh Khanna Affair

Scandal Flashback: The Tina Munim-Rajesh Khanna Affair

Scandal Flashback: The Tina Munim-Rajesh Khanna Affair
Rajesh and Tina worked in over 10 films together

RAJESH KHANNA

Read more about Rajesh Khanna
IN THE 70s AND 80s, every girl in India was crazy about Rajesh Khanna (fondly called Kaka), Bollywood’s first bonafide superstar. The man himself was an enigma and was as known for his relationships as he was for his movies. He was deeply involved with Anju Mahendru but broke up with her and got married to young Dimple Kapadia, who had become a superstar herself after Bobby. Unfortunately, this relationship too didn’t last long though that didn’t dent his popularity among his huge fan following.
Among his millions of female fans was the gorgeous Tina Munim who had made a name for herself as a young, hot and sought-after actress in the late 70s. Back then, she was dating Sanjay Dutt though she was an ardent admirer of Rajesh Khanna. Of course she never had an inkling that one day she would get linked with him but fate had different plans!
It’s said that when Sanjay took to substance abuse after the release of his debut, Rocky, Tina found it difficult to handle him. Despite her best efforts, Sanjay was in no mood to sober up and that’s when she allegedly realised that they weren’t meant to be.
Fresh out of a relationship, Tina decided the best way to go was to concentrate on her career. In fact, rumour has it that during her relationship with Sanjay, she rejected hit movies such as Love Story and Ek Duje Ke Liye. In the early ‘80s, filmmakers started approaching Tina again with big projects and she knew that she had to make the most of it. Among the films offered, there were a few that paired her with megastar Rajesh Khanna. Tina was naturally ecstatic about being Rajesh Khanna’s heroine. They worked in films like Fifty Fifty and Sauten, both of which were blockbusters. Thus started the great professional and personal union that lasted through 11 films.
It was a known fact that Rajesh Khanna liked to court much younger women. Quite like Dimple, the age difference between Tina and him was also a glaring 15 years. However, that didn’t stop Tina from falling head over heels in love with the first superstar of the country.
During that time, rumours were rife that Kaka and Dimple Kapadia’s marital life was shaky. In a few years, the couple separated. Insiders say during the break-up of his marriage, Tina provided the much-needed support. In an interview, Kaka admitted, “I married Dimple on the rebound and Tina was a balm on my wounds.” Strangely enough, in the initial stages of the Tina-Kaka relationship, Dimple and she befriended each other. Dimple would go on Kaka’s outdoor shoots and bond with Tina. Of course, she had no clue that Tina would eventually get involved with her husband!
Tina and Rajesh allegedly started getting close while shooting for their movies. And after Dimple moved out, their relationship deepened. After dating for a while, Tina apparently moved into Rajesh’s palatial bungalow, a rather bold step those days.
Everything was going well between Tina and Kaka who had become inseparable. Kaka played the perfect boyfriend who made sure that Tina was comfortable, even gifting her expensive gifts like jewellery and customised cars. The duo never hid their relationship either; in fact, they were very candid about it. In an interview, Tina admitted that Kaka and she were so close that they even shared the same toothbrush! A lot of people, especially scribes even saw Tina dressed in Kaka’s favourite garb – a silk kurta and lungi.
However, tina wasn’t just happy to share Kaka’s home and his clothes, she apparently wanted something more – his surname. A few years into the relationship, Tina allegedly started demanding that Rajesh marry her but the only way to achieve this was if Kaka divorced Dimple. Reportedly, Kaka gave Tina false hopes but she soon realised that he wasn’t ever going to divorce his first wife. Tina didn’t want to stick around and play second fiddle for long. And that’s when she decided to take the hard decision of leaving him.
Insiders say Rajesh was shocked and he begged her not to go, but her mind was made up. As a goodbye gift, Tina allegedly made copies of 20 of his best films, and packaged them in velvet covers with the titles in gold thread.
Though Tina remained tightly guarded about Kaka, in a rare interview, she admitted, “Kaka was incapable of loving anyone. He was only ever in love with himself!”  After breaking up with Rajesh, Tina moved to California briefly to attend college. In 1992, she married Anil Ambani. Rajesh continued to work in films and was linked to a few women in the subsequent years. However, he could never regain his lost glory on screen.

Salman Khan blasts Karan Johar for AIB?

#
Karan Johar's troubles over his participation in the controversial AIB's Roast are far from over.

The latest setback is, Salman Khan has taken huge offence to the titillating tamasha and has ticked off Karan Johar in no uncertain terms.

A close buddy of Salman spilled the beans when he revealed, "Salman doesn't entertain or tolerate any kind of chichoraapan (vulgar behaviour) in public. He does a lot of mazaa-masti with friends in private. But in public his conduct is impeccable."

Apparently Salman Khan was livid when his dear sister Arpita was named at the Roast. Though the offensive portions were removed from the show when it was edited for Youtube, Salman is still very upset over the whole issue.

Says a source, "Salman called up and gave Karan a piece of his mind. Salman told Karan in no uncertain terms that he found all the on-stage humour distasteful and unacceptable. He also threatened to walk of Karan's film Shuddhi."

Whether Salman Khan will finally simmer down and be pacified by Karan remains to be seen. But at the moment the superstar is in no mood to relent.

Salman Khan doesn't want to hear a word about Karan Johar or his film
